1:1 sessions
Hi!
Working in one-on-one sessions with an individual is an honour; a privilege to be permitted to access a person’s “story” within the physical and energetic body – via the access point all manual therapists have at their fingertips: the connective tissue (or fascia). This is where my approach hinges on: where soul + science meet.
This is a glimpse of what to expect and what I bring to 1:1 sessions – grounded in science and knowledge of the biology, anatomy and physiology of the body + a deep spiritual awareness, connection and application throughout as a heart-centred session.
Heart + hands + healing
If I could sum up what the 1:1 sessions embody and facilitate for you, it would be the 3 x H’s: Heart + Hands + Healing.
♡ Heart: I first connect with my heart + brain for a powerful coherence practice. This heightens intuition and fosters a heart-centred practice.
Hands: The electromagnetic therapeutic tool, highly skilled for precise, subtle work I do; refined sensitivity in the fingers to acutely feel into the tissues and body.
Healing: awakening the healing that lays already within the body – for the body’s natural direction and innate wisdom is to heal and. keep you alive, safe and well. Healing is inevitable and a constant, however minute or grand – when the heart-intention to heal is transmitted into the hands, healing begins.
and, Knowledge: What sets a foundation in my approach is deep knowledge in science, merging with spiritual + and energetic (quantum) truths. Grounded in traditional science and biology with quantum science allows the session to be practical, gently structured and include assessment that forms a solid bridge with heart+soul intention.

What to expect in a session
The session will take place in a private room-studio in a private residence, overlooking mountains and nature. Jenny will take a brief health history (aka medical history), noting significant challenges in health, injuries, surgeries as well as pivotal emotional events (tightly linked with physical manifestations). As appropriate and according to the individual, a brief assessment will follow which may include evaluating joint restrictions and range of motion and/or painful movement.
Once this is completed, the individual will be asked to prepare to lie on the massage table – with outer clothing removed or, keeping light clothing on.
The hands-on part of the session includes the application of a few techniques – Bowen Therapy, some acupressure and reflexology, Lymph flow and gentle micro-mobilisation motions. Each technique has unique benefits – collectively moving the body towards the tipping point of self-healing and release: physically and emotionally.
Jenny has been practicing Bowen Therapy since 2005, which forms the key influence and basis of the sessions, enhanced with other gentle soft tissue techniques.
Sometimes Jenny may include energy or spiritual practices, affirmations and sound healing.
Jenny creates an oasis of healing, calm and restoration – holding a space of peace and health, in mind-body and soul.
